Once you finalize the options in your new home, we’ll work with your lender to ensure a timely and seamless closing. We’ll take on the heavy lifting of working with appraisers, inspectors and subcontractors so that you can focus on what matters most – envisioning the future of your new home.


5. Stay Consistent and in Contact
we’re committed to guiding you through a smooth and stress-free closing. Once your new home is under construction, it’s important to hold off on major financial purchases. Many buyers don’t realize that their pre-qualification is based on their current financial situation, and big purchases or refinancing decisions can impact credit scores. To ensure a successful closing, focus on maintaining or improving your credit and always consult with your lender before making any significant financial moves. We’re here to help you navigate the process with confidence!
6. Finalize Loose Ends
Within 30 days of closing, your lender will contact you to provide final proof of funds, completed closing paperwork, and verification of employment. Once everything is submitted, you’ll receive a “clear to close,” confirming you’re ready for the final step in your homebuying journey. A few days before closing, McQ Builders will schedule a walkthrough of your new home, where we’ll share helpful tips to keep everything in top condition. After that, we’ll coordinate with your title company to complete the transfer of funds and officially hand over the title and keys to your brand-new McQ home!
